Through state-of-the-art facilities, a strong multidisciplinary research team and links with world-leading institutions, the CCRI will lie at the centre of a nexus of leading cancer researchers, oncologists, cancer service providers, scientists and academics, to create a National Cancer Research Network of Excellence, in so doing bringing Cyprus to the forefront of cancer research and ultimately cancer patient care.
Construction of CCRI’s state of the art facilities commenced in June 2020 and concluded in May 2023.
CCRI’s “Nicola David – Pinedo Building” will not only be an architectural landmark for the country, but more importantly it will be an important hub for the development of a national network of Cancer Research Excellence and an incubator of young scientists, thus highlighting Cyprus as a centre for cancer research.
